VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE IN EXPERIMENTS
• SIGN UP NOW FOR THE SEMESTER. VISIT http://cess.nyu.edu/experiments
Over the
course of the semester, a number of economic experiments will be performed in
the newly created Center for Experimental Social Science. The experiments are
primarily in individual and group decision-making and universally enjoyed by
those who participate in them.
The
students who participate will be paid for their participation. The amount paid
depends on the experiment run, the decisions made by the subject, and the
decision made by the other subjects in the experiment. An earnings rate between
$15 and $25 for 1 ½ hours of participation is common although in many
experiments students earn much more.
Your
participation in the experiment and any information about your earnings will be
kept strictly confidential and your participation is voluntary.
All
experiments take place in the computer lab of the Center for Experimental Social
Science sixth floor of 726 Broadway.
If, at any
time during the year you think you might be willing to participate, please click
here and you can register for upcoming experiments.

By
registering you will be put on a list of students who will be informed of
upcoming experiments as they take place. If you are interested in participating
at that time, you will be able to reply and if you are not you just simply
ignore the message.
In addition, you should know that thousands of students have done these
experiments in the past and have found them rewarding both monetarily, and
intellectually.
