Barry Cohen's Statistics Texts Update page -- rev. 1/28/08
I am pleased to announce the publication of the third edition of "Explaining Psychological Statistics." This latest edition looks slimmer than the previous one, but actually has about 80 more pages (the paper is a bit thinner)! Much of the added material is in the C sections, and comes from sections A and C of Chapter 22 (which was only available on the web), and some advanced sections I wrote for the doctoral course I teach at NYU. To go to the Wiley web page for the new edition (where instructors will find a link from which they can obtain the Instructor's Manual and Testbank, with a password, of course), please click the link below:
To see the Errata page for EPS/3e, and eventually, other supplementary materials for this edition (I am currently working on the D sections, which will include exercises and instructions appropriate for SPSS), please click the link below (as always, please send any additional errors you find, or comments of any kind, to me at: bc2@nyu.edu):
Supplements are still available for the second edition of EPS, as well as for my other two books ("Introductory Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences", 6th ed., by J. Welkowitz, B. Cohen, & R. Ewen, and "Essentials of Statistics for the Social and Behavioral Sciences", by B. H. Cohen & R. B. Lea), by clicking the link below, and then clicking the cover of one of my books (until new supplements are ready for EPS/3e, you may find the supplements for the other books to be useful):
