This book favors photos and flyers over text, which is good for me since I can't read Spanish. While I doubt any single book could realistically cover all aspects of any country's punk scene in the last 20 years, Hasta El Final does a good job considering its limited scope. You get visual history of four of Spain's biggest scenes (Barcelona, Euskadi, Madrid, and Zaragoza) plus sections on "los otros" ("the other scenes") and international bands that toured the country. There are also recollections of people who were/are involved in the scene then and now. I noticed an emphasis on covering the early scene as opposed to the current scene, but of course I'm not complaining. The book comes with a CD compilation of Spanish bands from the last 20 years as well.
