Need it be said what band this music resembles? This is *very* strong d-beat from the guys who brought you MOB 47 and PROTES BENGT. Even though the pace is much slower, you can still make out the vocal patterns from MOB 47 (especially on the first song), which is a nice treat for fans. Otherwise it reminds me of Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing, or Never Again. This is one of the only d-beat bands I've seen who has a lead guitarist, so they are a 5-piece. Which is odd, because the solos seem like nothing that Åke couldn't play in MOB 47? Oh well, the best solo is in "Condemned to Oppression," played over a chunky break. "Survive" sounds more like "Two Monstrous Nuclear Stockpiles" than most, whereas "Death Race" and "Blistering Light" could both pass for "Never Again." This is really good, and is the earlier Dis-clone that I've ever heard of. In Åke we trust!
