Reviews:

These guys definitely had a few Dead Kennedys albums, but play with a suburban Midwest mentality that makes them unique. They've got nasally vocals, the tenancy to throw in weird parts, and most importantly the biting sarcasm of the DKs - but no surf guitar. The majority of the songs are directed at the hardcore scene with an unflinching irony. "Positive Song" rips on the whole posi idea and "Jesus Youth" and "Satan Youth" take down both Christian rockers and satanic metal heads. The intro to "Jesus Youth" is especially reminiscent of the DK's "Religious Vomit," but it's done with so much zeal that you have to love it. Considering the declining state of hardcore in 1986, you have to appreciate a band like Th' Inbred for playing total snotty punk rock.
