I teach
three lectures at NYU:
Introduction to Econometrics (Ph.D.
core course)
This
course will be somewhat redesigned for the fall of 2007. The required textbook
continues to be “Econometrics” by Fumio Hayashi. Chapters of special interest
are 2, 3, and 7.
Advanced Econometrics (Ph.D.
elective)
Here is the syllabus for the 2007 version of this field
course. For the spring of 2008, I expect some updating but certainly a similar
course.
Intermediate Microeconomics (B.A.
core course)
I usually
teach this in spring. The course used the textbook by Besanko and Braeutigam,
as well as the Aplia online environment. I am considering a change however. Do
not buy any book for this course pending further instructions.
