While Detestation was a hardcore record with metallic overtones, this release is more solidly in the metal category. Six out of eight tracks feature dual guitar leads reminiscent of Iron Maiden, with only Sakevi's distinctive growl to distinguish them from The New Wave of British Heavy Metal. The other two songs, "Anatomy..." and "M.A.N.", are industrial sound collages not dissimilar from early Coil.
