Areas of interest: Romance Comparative Syntax with a special focus on North Italian Dialects (NIDs)and Bellinzonese (a NID spoken in Ticino, which is also my mother tongue)

Subject Clitics (SCls): I)l is the same morpheme that constitutes the 3rd person masculine SCl s well as 3rd person Object Clitics II) a is not an epenthetic SCl Object clitics and their combinatorial restrictions: I)the PCC is only a descriptive generalization that derives from very strict movement constraints II)Clitic Clusters are the result of Remnant Movement and reflect the basic order of merging of the arguments III)Post-verbal clusters exploit a different area of the clause Have to-Constructions in Bellinzonese, Italian and French: I) Instances of hidden relatives II) Modals are not Primitives of UG III) Restructuring and Clitic Climbing
