We developed several methods of measuring impulse responses using MATLAB. The first uses Playrec, a multi-channel MATLAB audio utility developed by Robert Humphrey at the University of York. The source code and instructions on compiling can be found on the Playrec Homepage. The scripts provided here use either sine sweeps or Maximum Length Sequences.

If you rather not use MATLAB for playback and recording we also have scripts to generate a cd of excitation signals that can be recorded by any method and then deconvolved later in MATLAB.
