Brendan Bellomo
Biography:
Brendan Bellomo began making films at the age of six when he discovered his father's camera. Since then he has directed numerous short films incorporating stop motion, 3D animation and live action. His film “got nice?” was nominated for a Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival. “Dream Sweeper,” which has been exhibited at Lincoln Center and with the NYU Symphony Orchestra performing a live and original score, combines his interests in stop motion, digital animation and sound design. Brendan, a senior at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Film/TV program, is currently directing an animated and live-action sci-fi short under the guidance of Animation Dept. Head and Academy Award Winning Animator John Canemaker and Advanced Production Workshop Professor Ezra Sacks.
