When I was listening to hardcore for some time one of my friends made me a mix-tape with a lot of different hardcore bands from the early eighties. Most of them were that midtempo melodic music that wouldn't be called 'hardcore" these days. But then the last song was song by Negazione, from their first 7". First question that came up when they started playing was:
Do they really call this MUSIC? That song is that fast and tight, it really hits me. Therefore, I was very happy when I finally found this Negazione record. But when I came home and played it, I was very disappointed, this doesn't sound like early Negazione. I'm sure this still is a good record, but it isn't going to slay you like the early stuff. So I keep searching for early Negazione records.
