Reviews:

This was to be The Stupids last official studioalbum. After the hectic frenzy of their previous albums the Bob Mould-like opening chords of the first song "You'll Never Know" seem almost out of place. What's this? It sounds like Hüsker Dü's hijacked the studio. Then suddenly Tommy Stupid and his drumset take things over and it all speeds up. Wonderful. Crazy thrashing rhythms and a guitar sound from heaven (really nice distortion) are a great match and set the tone for the rest of the album. The second song "Skid Row" is a reprise from an old demo track and could have been from their Peruvian Vacation, only much better production and even faster this time round. "Stupid Monday" has the same opening as "Run to the Hills" (yep) and has some pretty nifty chordchanges. Nice. "Slit Your Wrist" is a "cover" of "Twist and Shout" and rocks in a funny way. In my opinion, the Stupids reached their apex with this album in terms of playing and production.
