Some finicky fans have said this is not as good as earlier Black Flag recordings like "Nervous Breakdown" or "White Minority". If you want to get picky about it you can, but any way you look at it, this is still incredible stuff- an intense outburst of rage and fury etched on to a piece of vinyl. This single was recorded while Dez was the singer, and it's great, but now that they've got a new lineup with Henry doing vocals and Dez on second guitar, they're much better. Black Flag has always been incredible, but now they're absolutely awesome- a powerful thundering sound like nothing you've ever heard before. It's no wonder so many people consider Black Flag to be the best hardcore band in the world.
