Reviews:
On this album Channel 3 has a more commercial rock sound, unlike their live set. The slick production and squealing guitar leads will turn off some people, but others will enjoy the fast straightforward sound, good hooks, and singalong choruses. The songwriting is tasteful and creative. Lyrically the record starts off sounding like typical rock stuff about fast cars, fast girls, and fast living, but a closer look reveals some real intelligence, especially on songs like "Manzanar" (about America's concentration camps), "Strength In Numbers" (mob mentality), and "Double Standard Boys".
