Despite what I'd heard, this is a decent album. Not in the league of their first LP by any means, but pretty good nonetheless. It's got rock, funk, and punk elements thrown into the mix, to create a dark, heavy, bass-driven sound and gives the record an overall desperate feel. There's also a Dead Kennedys influence in the music (perhaps due to the musicians being from San Francisco) and in the singing style and lyrics as well. While some songs drag ("Executive Dive", "Little Rock'n'Roller"), there's enough originality and catchy-ness to make this worth listening to.
