LYRICS
Reviews:

Relentless mid-tempo hardcore. This EP is quite similar to the previous two (though perhaps it doesn't have as much that makes it stick out) - catchy songs featuring heavy guitar and John Kezdy's interesting lyrics. "Techno's Gone" is their fastest, thrashiest song, but the acoustic guitar parts are a nice addition. And it would be wrong not to mention how great the cover of the record is...

From the liner notes to Remians Nonviewable:

I've always had the feeling that more people bought this record for the superb artwork by Randy Broecker than for the music. The skeleton puppets were borrowed for gig posters in San Francisco and used for tattoos in Detroit.
We're da Machine: Baksheesh in Bridgeport. Chicago, like many big towns, is still run by crooked government. At one time, if a cop stopped you on Lake Shore Drive and asked what you did for a living it was a cue: ten bucks or a ticket. Make no mistake, corruption in all its forms, is a crippling evil. Yet the bribe is essential to business in much of the world. It's fascinationg to see how quickly graft gets results, regardless of the greater cost. See the fat man jump.
Quota: Working for The Company. The supervisor is an irascible and imperious half-wit who's learning all about golf on her sober hour. The owner chants the buisness mantras he learned at the seminar. No one wants to talk about the real problems. I'm making just enough money to pay my bills.
Techno's Gone: Machines bring on mental, moral, and physical indolence.
No Progress: Ambition can be virtue or vice. What I admired in tenacious bands like Black Flag, and many indie labels, is what I despised in The Company. Praise the Christian work ethic.
