The A side of this fucker is great - two of the best anthemnic hardcore songs I've heard. "Violent Arrest" is an even better anti-police brutality song than "Police Beat" - the back up vocals kick like a boot to the teeth. The song is similar to "Broken Bones," but even more raging. "Voices from my Window" manages to keep the whirlwind pace while dropping some of Clif Hanger's standard angsty-story lyrics. "Halloween Night" is a good song with a bit of the Dead Kennedy-inspired guitar work that would dominate later Freeze stuff. The title track is noisy and a bit less great than the other three, but overall this is the Freeze at their most extreme.
