Reviews:
Falling somewhere between non-traditional punk rock and cottage cheese on wheat toast, Ground Zero can twist words and chords that satisfy a need to confuse, entertain and distrub with their off-beat brand of music. Just because Ground Zero hail from Minneapolis, are on Reflex Records and are produced by Bob Mould doesn't mean they sound like Hüsker Dü, but I can give some clues to whom their major inspiration is. With songs like "The 11th Hour of the Skimpy Peanut Cluster," the band firmly stand on their own with more than a legal share of weirdness and creativity. Don't be fooled by the less-than-eye-catching cover, this record demands a listen. My "Pink" ears were certainly left standing at attention.
