This is quite a touching rendition of the Mary Tyler Moore theme. Even those of us weaned beyond the boarders of Minneapolis can appreciate the contributions made by Mary and company, but this selection must have been extra special for drummer Grant Hart, seeing that his father is none other than Lou Grant!...? Wait, that "Makes No Sense At All," which brings me to the other side of the single. This song really captures the essence of Hüsker Dü; the grinding melodic feedback underscored with Bob Mould's impassioned vocals only serves to wet my appetite. Just try listening to this once.
