I like this record, don't care what Joe says. "Content with mediocrity," my ass! N.O.T.A. are extremely fast, tight and at times these songs can crunch and grind with the best. Some of their distorted melodies really grab you, especially the older and slower songs like "Nightstick Justice," "Propaganda Control," and "Takin' Away Your Rights." In these they mix the power of hardcore with the tunefulness of punk rock. Not all their music and lyrics have that punch but there are many songs that show glimpses of it like "Cut the Crap," "Keeping You Out," "Summer of '82," etc. Definitely a recommended record for all hardcore fanatics. Like me.
