These guys really had nothing to do with the Boston Crew or any of those bands, and you can really tell that in their music. Anyway, as it says, six songs on this one from Psycho. From '85, it's their follow up to their 1983 8 Song E.P. 12". They aren't my favorite band from this era certainly, but it's pretty good and much better than their stuff after they went death metal (ugh). A slight rock influence here at times, although this is still a really good hardcore record. I really dig the faster songs. The lyrics are actually fairly decent still at this time covering vaguely political topics and confronting personal adversary (not in that stupid straight edge type of way, you jackass). The song "PMS" is pretty stupid and un-PC however. Definitely check out this record if you get the chance.
