Reviews:
The first three songs on this 1982 LP are great melodic hardcore, and its hit or miss from there without any really bad songs. The "who-oa" backup vocals and catchy midtempo riffs sound a lot like The Crew-era 7 Seconds, and that band ripped off the chorus of "Piece of Her Time" big time in "Definite Choice." They stick pretty close to their basic formula except for the reggae odyssey in "American Justice." The lyrics vary from pretty cool political and personal anthems to bad attempts at wordplay and songs about girls. The B-Side isn't a wasteland either, "Cry Wolf," "Total Mash," and a few more keep it going. This is worth picking up if only for "It Came Without Warning" and "Bedlam." Any fans of 7 Seconds or Youth Brigade should also check this LP out.

This is bound to be one of the best releases of '83. Dischord has really got their production down - it's the best in punk. An unrelentless record, musically and lyrically. Containing powerhouse thrash with great hooks, choruses, and vicious guitars. I don't care much for the few reggae-ish cuts, but otherwise I can't say enough good about this one.
