What would you get if you stuffed Skateboarding, agressive teens, and Hardcore in a blender? You would end up with Stalag 13's In Control LP. Stalag 13 was one of the many legendary Nardcore (Oxnard Hardcore) along with bands like Ill Repute, Dr. Know, Agression, RKL, Rat Pack, Habeas Corpus, etc. In Control is one of those records you just can't get enough of because, in my opinion, every song is great. All 9 songs hit you like a ton of bricks. They (Stalag 13) have lyrics that teens can really relate to like "Conditioned" which is about choosing what to do and what not to do based on people's ignorant choices in life or "Black Stix/Silver Badge" which is obviously about the long arm of the law. Also, "Black and Gray" is a song about being depressed and wanting to give up on life. If you can ever find some way to get hold of this album (which shouldn't be too hard because it is available on CD). It would definitely be worth your while.

A real solid, good-sounding LP taking up where Minor Threat left off with live your own life "In Control" lyrics. Hardcore of the best kind.
