As a programmer, sometimes you feel as though you don't know exactly where you fit into the larger structure.
After much searching and experimenting in different fields of programming, one usually finds their calling. For me
it was Multimedia. I decided to pursue my interest in Multimedia due to a realization that everything that I was involved in, be
it for personal or professional, was a heavy tie-in to the field of Multimedia. Gaming, web design, interactive applications, the latest and greatest gadgets. They
are all things that rely heavily on the way that information is trasferred. I wanted to study this new field of transfer of info and study the new ways in which future
programmers, hopefully myself and my peers, will take it to the next level. Just looking back on my own life and past, I can already get a better picture on what the evolution of Multimedia
looks like. However, there have never really been that many classes that focus on this very large topic. That is why I hope to get the most I can out of this class, while also putting
in the most I can. I love the interaction between man and machine, and the interface that lies between is an ever evolving one, one that gets thinner and thinner as time passes. I want to help mold that
interface and it's potential.
