August 3, 2006South Street Seaport is where The CCRA-USA members and vendors will Join friends, family, and neighbors for a night of soulful sounds at the KISS concert on Pier 17 at South Street Seaport, NYC.Trains: From any point within the City-- A,C,E,2,3,4,5,To Fulton Street -- exit subway and walk just a few blocks South to the Sea Port: J, and M Trains to Chambers Street/City Hall in Manhattan--exit, and walk South East to the Sea Port: LIRR to Atlantic Avenue transfer to the 2, 3, 4, 5 to Fulton Street; LIRR to Penn Station and transfer to any of the above subway lines or take one of the South Bound buses to Park Row/City Hall, walk South East to the Seaport: Cars--FDR to City Hall/Chambers Street exit right before the Brooklyn Bridge; West Side Highway to Battery Park, exist, and drive East to South Street Seaport; Brooklyn Battery Tunnel--exist right before the FDR-you will see the Seaport to your right; LIE to the Brooklyn, or Manhattan Bridge, take first exist in Manhattan and drive South to the Seaport |

The Harlem Festival a month-long extravaganza is a culmination of multicultural artist, and venders of all genres at their best. There is something for every palette. Harlem New York, the cradle of American music, and afro-centric artist is the place where history, and legends are made. Trains: From any point within the City--A,C, E, to 125th Street, 4,5, to 125th; LIRR to Penn Station and transfer to any of the above subway lines to 125th Street: Surface transit North Bound to 125th Street: Cars, FDR to 125th Street, West Side Highway to 125th Street. The parking fee of $10.00 is a nominal expense to pay at Manhattan Beach to turn the kids loose to run, and play to their hearts delight as you wind down from a fun filled summer and prepare to send the kids back to school this Fall Season (Loads of free parking available if you don't mind walking an extra block or two). Life Guards are on full duty, and the concession stand will be open should you run short of ice-beverages/hot dogs, etc. So grab your bathing suits, throw your beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, and kids in the car, and come have an early dinner with The CCRA-USA. Bring a dish, or something to throw on the grill. The CCRA-USA will serve dinner plates, and beverages for a modest donation. Trains: From any point within the City--D train to Sheepshead Bay-walk across the bay to Manhattan Beach: LIRR to Atlantic Avenue transfer/take the B41 to Flatbush Avenue at the cross street of Bedford Avenue, and transfer to the B49: Surface transit, B49 to Emmons Avenue, walk through the park/parking lot to Manhattan Beach: Cars--Belt Parkway to Flatbush Avenue Exit Flatbush Avenue to Avenue "U" to Bedford Avenue-make a Right turn onto Bedford Avenue to Sheepshead Bay-make a Right turn, and then a left turn at the light onto Emmons Avenue continue driving you will see the parking lot on the Right; Manhattan Bridge to Brooklyn existing on Flatbush Avenue Extension-continue along Flatbush Avenue to Bedford Avenue, make a Right turn onto Bedford Avenue-continue on Bedford Avenue to Sheepshead Bay-make a Right turn and continue driving The Caribbean Day Festival is the next best thing to being there. All the Islands of the Caribbean come together in song, dance, and feast in traditional Island festival garments. A spectacular sight--truly to behold, and an unforgettable experience.
