So I did a little research on this song as well, it turns out it's a really old
Italian song--go figure, a bunch of Italians singing an old Italian song in 
English, with a reggae tune... anyway, the full story is here if anyone cares.

Apparently this song has been recorded and rerecorded into exhaustion: versions have
been recorded by MINA, SHIRLEY BASSEY, CELINE DION, VIKKI CARR, SANDRA KIM, and
FRANK GALAN. And Giuliano Palma of course. Anyway, the only thing I have to
say is that with the possible exception of Vikki Carr, all of these non-Bluebeater
versions suck. This is the only version worth listening to; download it and
thank me later.

Isn't it cool how he codeswitches into Italian for the last verse? I bet no one
else thought of that. Ha.
