	<br /><br /><p>THE LIQUID JIG was formed against the backdrop of the decadent and poverty-stricken West 
	Philadelphian summer of 2003. The band incorporated a variety of musical tastes, its membes hailing from 
	India to Korea, from Pakistan to Ecuador. And Canada. The Liquid Jig released its only album, the extended 
	play <a href="discog.html">The Liquefactionist EP</a>, in July, 2005. The album includes the hit-single 
	<a href="freesamples.html">Burn me down</a>, which in 2006 
	reached the #2 spot in the US Billboard Top 40 and #1 in Australia, South Africa and India.</p>
