OVIDIUS PROJECT –
ROMA 2008
The
great Roman poet, Ovid (Publius Ovidius Naso) was born in Sulmona, Italy some
2050 years ago. A prolific poet, became an important figure in Rome, was exiled
and died in Tomis, todayÕs Constanta (Romania). The Constanta Art Museum, Dr.
Doina Pauleanu, Director, has approached the ICIA Inc., asking us to
coordinate a series of cultural events in Constanta (March 19, 2008), in Rome
(April 24, Õ08) and in New York (the fall Õ08).
