Update: Since the Them Crooked Vultures album was released, this site will undergo a huge update, but not until about December. Classes are getting extremely time-consuming, and I'm wrapping up an internship at Billboard Magazine. In the mean time, you're more than welcome to follow me on Twitter for updates on all sorts of things, or add me on Facebook. If you add me on Facebook, just send a message along with your request that you're coming from the TCV tutorial site. Thanks!

Learn how to play several Them Crooked Vultures songs on guitar! Josh Homme, guitarist and vocalist for Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss, has a very particular guitar technique. I'm doing my best to explain that for you. So far, "No One Loves Me and Neither Do I," "Scumbag Blues," and "Elephants" already have video tutorials. I'll do my best to get some Them Crooked Vultures tabs in Powertab and GuitarPro as well. Cheers, everyone!
"New Fang" is the first single by Them Crooked Vultures. The .txt tab is here; New Fang Powertab and Guitar Pro will soon be here, but not yet.
"No One Loves Me and Neither Do I" is the first song I've completed. The .txt tab is here; the Powertab is in the tabs section, and Guitar Pro will soon be here, though it's not done yet.
A few riffs from Them Crooked Vultures - Scumbag Blues. See the tab here for reference. Song's in A; there's no reason to tune down for this. A big chunk of the song is soloing, which, unfortunately, I refuse to do on an acoustic. It does blow my mind that Josh can play this one and sing at the same time though. The main riff is fairly tricky.
Guitar riffs from Them Crooked Vultures' usual opener, "Elephants." This is a speedy one. They very well might play this one tuned down a whole step, so that Homme can just pull off to the open G string on that fast riff. But, if I can play it on acoustic guitar, you can play it on electric in standard tuning. :)
