Jennifer Blaylock was born in the summer of 1984 into 98-degree heat in “The Heart of California.” A born polymath, plagued by horrid spelling and the inability to remember seemingly inconsequential things like names and dates, Jennifer has propelled herself into studying an amalgam of fields: film, philosophy, literature, food and anthropology. Jennifer considers herself a humanist with feminist and Marxist romanticisms. She received a B.A. in anthropology from University of California, Berkeley in Spring of 2006 and will start the Moving Image Archiving and Preservation program at New York University come Fall 2008. Fascinated by artifacts from by-gone eras, Jennifer is an avid collector of objects of americana: spoons, coins, blues records, films, old photographs, slides, and ticket stubs. Jennifer prefers to read three books at once, pie with her coffee, and questions to answers. |
