Lc. Canhamiana 'Azure Skies' AM/AOS

(C. mossiae x L. purpurata)

Registered in 1885, the primary hybrid Lc. Canhamiana is almost as distinctive as its illustrious species parents. Many cultivars have been awarded through the years, including the "blue" form 'Azure Skies' in 1997. The plants are easy growers under standard cattleya conditions, and reliably produce heads of 5-6" flowers at maturity.
