Phrag. Paul Eugene Conroy
(longifolium 'Waunakee' x wallisii)
Phrag. Paul Eugene Conroy produces flowers that are similar to the well-known Phrag. Grande, except that the wallisii
influence tends to shift the color palette towards the golds and greens. This particular plant inherited the
successive-blooming habit of the longifolium parent, with each flower lasting about 4 weeks, but other clones of this grex
may inherit wallisii's simultaneous-blooming habit to varying degrees. The petals on this Paul Eugene Conroy ultimately
reached 10-11 inches in length.
