These Pictures were taken between September 14 and 21, 2001. All of the sudden a void appeared on my way to school, as the skyline at the end of First Avenue dramatically changed. The smoke blowing from the remainings of the World Trade Center was still visible, making the void even greater and more dramatic

The terrorist attack was an attack on my person too. Even though I'm not an American, I received only good things from this city since I came in two weeks before the terrible event. The prospective of making my work and my life transcend thanks to New York City was shattered during those days. But life goes on, and I hope our faith in the future will be restored soon and stronger than ever.
