Revised thesis topic and question + research problem

After following the format suggested in the reading "The Craft of Research" I able to better specify the subject, as well as the practical and research problems. This is the result:

I am writing about the impact of the advent of digital tools in the craft of media production... because I want to explain how the skills and abilities involved have been transformed... in order to demonstrate how the creative potential of the craftsman/artist has been positively or negatively affected.

I also found useful to apply a very simple format the reading suggests:

Practical Problem: Do digital tools increase or reduce creative potential? Main Research Question: How do I find out if there has been a loss or gain in skills and abilities? Related Research Question: How can creative potential be measured? Research Problem: I need to discover the differences in the way one or more media production processes were made before and after the advent of digital tools, in order to discover if the creative potential of the craftsman/artist has been increased or reduced. Research Answer: Discover the differences in question by obtaining information about the production process on both stages -- analog and digital -- and compare the processes by evaluating a number of factors, such as: Time Materials used Tools used Steps needed to completion Type of processing needed to obtain final product Involvement of the body: Eyes Hands Strength Precision Sensitivity Role of senses (smell, touch, etc.)

This is the first topic and research question:

I am studying the impact caused by the advent of digital tools in the craft of media production... because I want to find out whether there has been a loss or gain of skills and abilities... in order to understand how the creative potential of future generations will be affected by this phenomenon.
