Languages
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.
  • In the late 1970s, I participated in a project at Cornell University directed by Carl Sagan for NASA which involved the recording of spoken greetings to the universe in various languages for the Voyager Interstellar Outreach Program. Since then, my greetings in Portuguese have been traveling through outer space on the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecrafts. I still have a copy of the typewritten release I signed giving NASA all rights to this recording of my voice "in any and all media without limitation, throughout the world and extraterrestrially."
