The best things in life are free . . . but you can give them to the birds and bees. I want money! That's what I want. That's what I want. That's what I want. Your love gives me such a thrill . . . But it won't pay my bills. I want money! That's what I want. That's what I want. That's what I want. Money don't get everything - it's true. What it does get, I can't use. I want money! That's what I want. That's what I want. That's what I want. I want money - I want lots of money. In fact I want your money. Gimme your money! Just give me money. (That's what I want). (synthesizer) - The Flying Lizards

Took a three-hour road trip to Delaware tonight to participate in the notorious lottery ticket-buying frenzy. It was absolute pandemonium - monstrous lines at every convenient store, liquor store, and market at which tickets are sold. Highway traffic was backed up for miles with people driving in from the tri-state area. One man bought $600 worth!! The lucky winner receives 280 million dollars (before the 40% prize tax . . . boo!) Chances are eighty million to one. I have a good feeling about this.

Absolutely effortless efforts calling into Philadelphia radio stations while driving home on I-95 ensued in an on-air tongue-in-cheek plea by Meg to play Afroman's "Because I Got High." Soon after, an on-air discussion occurred between Becca and a popular radio personality about whether Congressman Gary Condit wears a toupee or sports a Flowbee haircut.

Becca is definitely going down in radio history for using the word "Flowbee" on the air.

Speaking of Flowbees and its competitors' products, does anyone remember the scene in Wayne's World?:

"The question everyone is asking . . . How does it work?"
"Well . . . it sucks, and it cuts!!"
"It sure does suck! . . ."

How good was Scary Movie 2? How good was Scary Movie 2??

It was not good; it was great! Exquisite cinematography, structured narrative, excellent script, and honest and apologetic performances by all players. Actually . . . Scary Movie 2 dims in comparison to its predecessor. Its hasty production is evident in editing and lighting. The script (though penned by at least six writers) lacks the spontaneous slapstick and clever reworking of the horror genre. However, Anna Faris, staple actor of the first film, continues to make me proud and entertained throughout the film. Tori Spelling, making a cameo in a Hollywood shirt -- as well as the casting of fellow 90210 player Kathleen Robertson -- confirms that Scary Movie 2's creators have successfully carried over the humor in self-reflexivity evident in the first film. Rather than utilizing mainly modern horror flicks for spoofing potential, mad props to the Wayans for including spoofs of classic horror films like The Exorcist, The Amityville Horror, and Poltergeist.
