Everytime I hear the intro of George Michael's "Careless Whisper," the Police Academy movies come to mind. I can't figure out why. And everytime I hear George Michael's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me," I can't help but calling out, "Ladies and gentlemen: Mr. Elton John!"

The quasi-offensively named band is organizing a charity show in New York, featuring such musicians as Twisted Sister and -- yes! -- Sabastian Bach (who I must say gave an excellent performance in last year's Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway - that guy sure knows how to wail).
