By the way, that's not really my bike in the first photo - that's the name of Ethan Hawke's band in Reality Bites! Jeremiah and I saw Hart's War last night (or as I refer to it, Purple Heart's War). It was pretty good - a nice refresher from some of the stale, trite war films that have been emerging recently.

I just came across the Cinephiles message board, and saw a couple of reviews I wrote last year near the bottom of the page. I don't even remember writing them! I must have been in a daze or something. Anyway, I thought it was funny.

Lord of the Rings scored far too many nominations for the Academy Awards this year. The movie was entertaining, but come on. The committee needs to start giving breaks to less flamboyant and more frugal films.
