Yesterday Jeremiah and I subwayed up to Columbus Circle to look at a location for his movie. There's an 11-story building on the circle, just below Central Park, that is available to filmmakers at little or no cost for shooting. The building is full of empty lofts, offices, an auditorium, and balconies that can easily be converted to realistic looking locations. Here are some shots from one of the upper balconies overlooking Central Park.

This is the new AOL Time Warner building on Columbis Circle. Apparently, there will be restaurants and condominiums once contruction is completed. And lots of cash, I bet!

Traffic in Columbus Circle.

Circular windows rule. There are tons of them in this building.

Looks like the Statue of Liberty digs souvenir shopping!

Here's Jeremiah at the 8th Street - Broadway subway station. I should have taken his wallet while he was posing!! Although he wasn't really posing, so bah.

Vacation, all I ever wanted, vacation, have to get away...the Friday Five!

1. What's your favorite vacation spot?
Jersey!!! Coastal towns - Ocean City, Wildwood, Atlantic City - shore nice to sea you!! I love Phoenix, AZ, too. Anywhere hot. Niagara Falls, London, and Williamsburg, VA, are also awesome.

2. Where do you consider to be the biggest hell-hole on earth?
Hmm...not sure!

3. What would be your dream vacation?
A hot, sunny beach where the drinks flow like water, the aloe vera is abundant, and the jellyfish say hello and bring you lemonade. And no tsunami in the forecast.

4. If you could go on a road-trip with anyone, who would it be and why?
I would go with Thelma and Louise because I want to say, "Thelma, I'm a lettin' ma hair down!!" Plus, that classic Thunderbird is really hot. Then again, I'm not down with driving into the Grand Canyon.

5. What are your plans for this weekend?
Studying for my history midterm, helping Jeremiah scout locations for his movie, laundry, and hanging out at the comedy club.

Finally saw The Godfather! I'm too sleepy to type something pseudo-thoughtful now, but it's awesome and I look foward to seeing the next two films in the trilogy.

So my evening of grocery shopping results in a pageful of culinary photos. You're not surprised, are you! How do you like them...radishes.

Can anyone figure out why "Oops" is printed on this cereal box?

Reflection shots RULE!

He who builds a canal will eventually sell wing sauce.

This cow is laughing 'cause I told it a joke: How does a cow do math? ... with a cow-culator! Hahar.

It's cinnamo, yo. Cinnamo bread. It's so good, I forgot to include the "n."

All I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here, in my cart. Food is very ... necessary, it can never do harm. Man, Depeche Mode would kick my ass if we shopped in the same store.

Waf-fulls? Those executives at Eggo are pretty cool.

Shopping makes my head spin!

Come on, you know you want to vote for Duran Duran's Rio as one of the fifty best album covers ever!

For some reason, I find it funny that I get hits for "pet crawfish" and "Hall & Oates concert reviews."

Being sick blows, but at least the paraphanalia provides fun photo opportunities!

Did I spell "achoo!" correctly?

So this is why I always liked the movie Labyrinth as a kid ... I could identify with David Bowie! Make sure to report your results!

"I'm Jareth! I'm calculating and determined, and I may well burst into song for no reason. I want to get the girl, rule the kingdom, and wear tight pants. Ahhh, who doesn't?"

Take the "Which Labyrinth character are you most like?"

Photos I took at Jeremiah's casting auditions yesterday.

This actor is really convincing at playing a tree. Wait a second ... this really is a tree.

Mosaic at 66th St. subway station.

How very exciting! The restoration release of E.T.The Extra-Terrestrial is in a month! It's going to be so dope.

My head feels like a balooooooon. Being sick blows. Might be another day or two before I have enough energy to prep new photos for this page. I hope everyone is nice and healthy!
