If you -- or your cousin Vinny, or someone -- enjoy solving problems regarding hard drive data retrieval for Macs (please see Jeremiah for details), holla!
Is "hoagie" an exclusively Philly-area term for hero sandwiches? I guess I grew up under the impression that it was. It doesn't seem to be popular in usage, even in nearby NYC.
I just read about an interesting situation at the Village Voice. Apparently, the recent review of Sonic Youth's new album was a bit offensive; the letters to the editor following the review's publication reflect the significant Voice readership disaccord with the article. Besides one NYC live show last year, and a brief listening of some of their albums, I know very little about Sonic Youth; however, I do think this review comes off as a little harsh. What do you think?
Botchy balls! Do you know what yesterday was? My one year anniversary of having a weblog! My first posts reveal how corny I was. Well, I'm still corny, but maybe less now.
More photos from Montgomery and Bucks Counties, Pennsylvania.
Run, florist, run.
Last night on St. Mark's Place and Third Avenue, Jeremiah and I saw Jim Jarmusch, director of Stranger Than Paradise and Night on Earth. Mr. Jarmusch must have heard Jeremiah exclaim, "Check it out - it's Jim Jarmusch!" because when I turned around, he was looking at us. I should have told him how cool he was, but I bet he hears it all the time.
Jeremiah also has some pictures from the concert. The following photos are from the Daisy Diner (or is it Daisy's Diner?) afterwards. The images are unintentionally soft focus-esque. Just like that old Hollywood movie about spoons, you know?
