The other night a bunch of us met up at Tracy J's, one of the most excellent karaoke bars in the city. I willingly, and publicly, embarrassed myself by singing Ace of Base's All That She Wants. Swedish pop rules!
Yesterday Jeremiah, Claire and I took a trip to Brooklyn for the Village Voice's Siren Music Fest in Coney Island. The Donnas were awesome! I was so excited to finally see them live. We didn't stick around for the other bands, but we did have a good time meandering on the beach, boardwalk, and fishing pier - photos of crabs coming soon.
By the way, can anyone find me a film-related job in NYC within the next three weeks? Just, you know, wondering. Seems like everyone else is looking, too.
