Photos from a toystore, Upper East Side.

Well. I think it's safe to say this photo speaks for itself.

Dancing hamsters! The one in the middle was going wild. Maybe it has rabies.

Holy smokes. Sunburn much?

Eww! How many kids enjoy playing with rodents to necessitate the manufacture of toy rat products?

Jeremiah took this picture for me, so I can say "Botchy balls!" and actually mean it.

Saw Ladytron at the Irving Plaza on Tuesday night. Totally ruled. Photos soon!

Identity is one of the best horror films I have seen in recent years. Run, don't jog, to the movie theater. A Mighty Wind was also an interesting film, but I wish there was just a bit more substance to the plot. Waiting for Guffman is still my personal favorite of the Christopher Guest-directed films.

Even though I told myself I'd boycott the "Today" show with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer after last month's censorship-driven fiasco with Tim Robbins, I feel uncontrollably drawn to watch it -- and complain about it each morning. Jewel, who was the guest this morning, discussed her new album which, from what I heard of it featured on the show, sounds pretty good. Rad to the max!

Ever since Jen told me she found treasures such as 1980s-esque stickie earrings in auction listings on eBay, I signed up and have since "won" (euphemism: bought) several items. Said items include a Duran Duran picture book from 1984 ($5), Duran Duran photo button ($2), jelly bracelets ($2), a fantastic book called "America: What Went Wrong?" ($3), and a vintage Ocean City, NJ, postcard from 1955 ($5). Yeah boy!

Speaking of Internet addictions, Friendster is a cool little online community of people who are looking for love in all the wrong places. Or just want everyone to know about their admirably eclectic musical tastes. Regardless, if you know what's good for you, join the fun!
