Photos taken at the Tisch Salute, one of many graduation events last week.

Me, Jessica, Liz, and Krista. They all look great in their caps and gowns! I really got the fuzzy end of the lollipop when it came to assigning cap sizes - it fell off everytime I moved.
My undergraduate studies are officially over - I graduated last week!!! The ceremony and its accompanying events were a lot of fun. I am trying to decide how to organize my photos - I'll probably end up creating a gallery.
I guess you could say my first set of graduation day photos were taken on my way downtown to the ceremony on Thursday morning. Instead of risking the unpredictable 6 train, I hopped in a cab to head downtown. As luck would have it, we got in a four-car wreck in the left lane of the FDR. The cab driver crashed into the car in front of us (who had stopped short after the driver in front of them did), and seconds later the car behind us crashed into the bumper. I was thrown out of my seat and hit the partition (ironic because I always wear a seatbelt - with the exception of NYC cabs). Luckily, I escaped with only bruises and body aches, and, miraculously, everyone else seemed to be fine. All four cars were badly damaged, though - let's hope they have insurance.
Minutes after the accident, two policemen pulled up. I refused their offer to arrange for an ambulance, but told them I had to be downtown in ten minutes for my graduation. They told me to hop in the backseat! I got to ride a squad car downtown. It ruled.
The impact forced the cab to wedge itself under the car in front of us.
