◊ Retouching Your Photos With Healing Brush ◊
Photoshop 7.0 offers a very useful new tool known as the Healing Brush to retouch your photos. Located right above the Clone Stamp, this brush easily removes artifacts from pictures such as scratches, acne, and wrinkles. Unlike the Clone Stamp tool offered in earlier versions of Photoshop, the Healing Brush automatically preserves the shading, lighting, and texture of the area being cloned, blurring and blending as well. ![]() Select the Healing Brush, and then Alt+Click on a clean part of his face. ![]() Doing this designates the source point from which to brush. Brush over the undesirable spots, and they will match the source point as Photoshop automatically blends and blurs the area. Just use this brush over all the parts that need retouching. ![]() Now the picture of his forehead looks a lot better, doesn't it. =) Using the healing brush also helps easily remove wrinkles.
