News

• Last Spring Kimura recorded Tania Leon's Axon for violin and interactive computer, for an album of Tania León's works.   The CD will be released from Bridge Records in the fall.  Axon was commissioned by Kimura, and was premiered at her solo recital at ISCM World Music Days 2002 in Hong Kong.

• This year, Mari Kimura is an Artist-in-Residence at Harvestworks.  Currently recording and mastering many of own works including solo violin and interactive pieces.
