Welcome to the website for the Restoration of Valley Place Ravine. This is a project for the Highland Park, NJ community, headed by the Clean Communities and New Jersey Community Water Watch. If you have any problems, please email me (Michelle Huang) at spaceduckie@gmail.com FINALIZED: The first restoration event is scheduled for Friday, 7/29 from 4:00PM-8:30PM and Saturday, 7/30 from 9AM-2PM. We will be removing weeds/undergrowth/invasive plant species. In the event there is inclement weather, we will send out a mass email at least two hours before the event. The weather for both of the days is predicted to be around 80 degrees and cloudy. Dress accordingly for the weather as well as undergrowth...think closed-toe shoes, possibly long sleeves/pants! If you can, bring any of your own supplies that could be used; i.e. shovels, gloves, handpruners, etc. We will also have supplies, as well as food/water/sanitizer.
