There is an abundance of Buddhas and elephants in the Siamese kingdom—there were thousands of these pachyderm figurines at this particular Buddhist temple I visited near Hatyai, Thailand. Hundreds of tourists flock here daily to pray, which can sound like firecrackers going off in a bronze urn, or smell like incense burning depending on your purpose.
