AboutThese pictures were all taken during the 2004 Overseas Compatriot Youth Summer Formosa Study Tour to Taiwan during the month of July. For the galleries, I utilized a wonderful (and free) Flash-based utility called SimpleViewer. Everything's been optimized for a 1024 x 768 screen resolution. While perusing the photographs, the simplest way to progress to the next photo is to click on the right-side of the photo you're currently viewing. For the shots, my principal sidearms were my manual-focus Nikon FG outfitted with a 50mm f/1.8 AI-S and an auto Nikon F65 with the 105mm f/2.0D AF-DC Nikkor. I used Kodak Max 400 for color and Kodak Tri-X for B&W. Most of my pictures in Keelung were taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-T1. This is part one of what I am sure will become a lifelong love affair with Taiwan. In these pictures, I've tried to establish a sense of place -- I hope I've succeeded. If you like what you see, please share it with your friends. Enjoy,
