BIOGRAPHY
I am a joint-degree Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering major, through an affiliation of New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology.
WEEK ONE>>>05/22-05/26

Met with advisor and research team
Created research journal website
Researched biological swarm intelligent systems, specifically insect colonies--ants, bees, termites, and wasps
Researched existing swarm simulations and algorithms
WEEK TWO>>>05/29-06/02

Expanded biological study to include bird flocks and fish schools
Began a process of derivable algorithms of these social structures and systems
Researched the literature on artificial swarm intelligence and application
Researched the literature on optimization techniques and advancements
WEEK THREE>>>06/05-06/09

Outlined the rules and protocols of the swarm and its entities
Continued the algorithm derivation and study
Extended the literature research on artificial swarm intelligence
Extended the literature research on optimization in direct relation to swarms
WEEK FOUR>>>06/12-06/16

Continued outlining the rules and protocols of the swarm and its entities
Continued with the algorithm process
Continued delving into the necessary literature
Prepared short seminar on swarm intelligence
WEEK FIVE>>>06/19-06/23

Continued with the track of the last two weeks
Met with my group and advisor
Set research focus and goals for the coming week
WEEK SIX>>>06/26-06/30
WEEK SEVEN>>>07/03-07/07
WEEK EIGHT>>>07/10-07/14

Continued the rules and protocol definition process
Designed the necessary supporting data structures
Revised the intelligence designs and algorithms
WEEK NINE>>>07/17-07/21

Finalize the research
WEEK TEN>>>07/24-07/28
