Tapping into your creativity

Pam Grout, author of Art and Soul, says that rather than telling people to make "art", she prefers to say "make stuff". It's a whole lot less intimidating to make "stuff", than it is to make "art". But really, it's not about what you're making, but rather about that you're making. Here are some suggestions, some from her book (which is a fun resource of ways to get in touch with your creative side), and some from me, that might help you tap into your creativity. You can try one a week, or just try them whenever you need a creative boost. Some are more long-term or big projects, and some are simple things. These are great stress-relievers/avoiders, too.
